Police charge man for indecent act

Halifax Regional Police has charged a man in relation to an indecent act in Halifax yesterday.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. on April 30, officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3400 block of Devonshire Avenue in Halifax. Officers located and spoke to two people who had been arguing. The incident concluded without any arrests or charges.

While on scene of the disturbance call, officers observed a man urinating outside near two childcare centres. Officers arrested the man at the scene without incident.

Michael Gordon Baker, 29, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face charges of an indecent act and failing to comply with conditions of an order under the Sex Offender Information Registration Act.
