Police investigate a stabbing in Halifax

At approximately 1:45 am Halifax Police responded to the report of a weapons complaint at a residence located in the 2300 block of Brunswick Street in Halifax.

A 23 year old man was taken to hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening stab wound.

Members of the General Investigative Section are currently investigating the matter which is in the early stages at this time. It is believed that the suspect and the victim are known to each other.
