Monday, August 26, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – As previously mentioned, Main Avenue in Halifax will be closed from Titus Street to Maple Street today, Monday, August 26th and Tuesday August 27th.

However today, the street closure will be in effect until approximately 6 p.m. On Tuesday, August 27, the closure will be from 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The closure is required to allow work crews to complete a sewer lateral replacement. Metro Transit will have a detour in effect from Main Avenue on to Berts Drive and Evans Avenue during the construction.

HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
