April 18th, 2011, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)… Members of the Halifax District RCMP are investigating a stabbing in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
Around 4:45 p.m. this afternoon, Halifax District RCMP received information that a male had arrived at the Dartmouth General Hospital suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound. The victim, a 14 year old male, was attacked while walking on the pathways in the area of Forest Hills Parkway, Cole Harbour. The injuries are not considered to be life threatening injuries. No suspects have been arrested at this time.
Police are asking anyone with information about this or any other incident to come forward. People are asked to contact any RCMP office, Halifax Regional Police, or Crime Stoppers anonymously anytime at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced. If police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 – $2000.
