As a result of a call received to MicMac Mall this evening, HRP East Division Patrol members arrested four young males and discovered a loaded gun in the possession of one of them.
Officers responded to the mall just after 6 p.m. when it was reported a person had overheard two males talking about drugs and a firearm. The responding members arrested a 16-year-old at one of the mall entrances, and three others at a nearby vehicle in the parking lot. The youth arrested in the entrance was discovered to be in possession of a concealed loaded firearm. Drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash were discovered and seized during the other three arrests.
The youth in possession of the gun will face numerous weapons related charges and will be scheduled to appear in Court Monday. The three others will face drug possession and trafficking charges. Two of them, an 18-year-old and a 22-year-old, will appear in court Monday as on top of the drug charges they are also allegedly in violation of court orders. The third, 16-years-old, will be scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
