An 18 year old male will appear in court today charged with break and enter, attempt break and enter, misleading police and property damage after an early morning incident Tuesday in Dartmouth.

From Halifax Police:

“Units responded to Garshan Road just before 6:30am after a homeowner found an unknown  male in his garage upon returning to his residence this morning. When confronted, the male left the area. The homeowner believed the male went into the neighbor’s yard and was fearful he was going to break into that home as well.

When officers arrived, the suspect was attempting to gain entry into the adjoining home through a rear door. When he was unable to gain entry to the house he made his way to the shed on the property and was arrested inside without incident.

He was held for Dartmouth court in the morning.”
