In relation to the previous media release for a shooting that occurred in the 3300 block of Federal Ave in Halifax, Halifax Regional Police have charged an 18 year old Lwr Sackville man who will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Monday January 18th to face charges of Attempted Murder, careless use of a firearm and other weapons related offences.  Through the course of the investigation, Halifax Regional Police have confirmed that this was not a random act as the man and the 49 year old male victim, from Halifax, were known to one another.
