Yarmouth Rural RCMP are currently investigating a fatal dirt bike collision that claimed the life of a 19-year-old man earlier today.

Shortly before 11:00 a.m., Yarmouth Rural RCMP and Emergency Health Services responded to a single vehicle collision involving a dirt bike on Jeans Point Road in Brazil Lake. Preliminary investigation revealed that the man lost control of his dirt bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist has been called to assist and the investigation is continuing.
