20 potential COVID-19 exposures (Sep 25 2021 report)

Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in Central and Western Zones, multiple transit routes and two flights. In addition to media releases, all potential exposure notifications are listed here: http://www.nshealth.ca/covid-exposures. As Nova Scotia moves into a stage of living with COVID-19 as we go about our daily activities, there will be changes in how Public Health communicates COVID-19 public exposures. We will no longer be issuing exposures based on the risk levels of low, moderate, or high. We will be issuing COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status. COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION (there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public)If you were present at any of the following locations or you were a passenger on the following transit routes for at least 15 minutes on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status. 

  • Ela Greek Taverna (150 Hector Gate, Dartmouth) on September 20 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 4.
  • Antoinette’s Cheesecakes (250 Baker Drive, Dartmouth) on September 21 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
  • The Crow’s Nest (3931 Shore Road W, Hillsburn) on
  • September 20 between 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • September 22 between 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.

  • Wendy’s (583 Portland Street, Dartmouth) on September 23 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 7.
  • Halifax Transit Route #003 (Crosstown) which ran from Highfield Terminal to Mumford Terminal on September 17 between 10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.

 

  • Halifax Transit Route #010 (Dalhousie) which ran from Bridge Terminal to South Park on September 19 between 7:00 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 3.
  • Halifax Transit Route #014 (Leiblin Park) which ran from Scotia Square to Mumford Terminal on September 20 between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 4.
  • Halifax Transit Route #001 (Spring Garden) which ran from Mumford Terminal to Scotia Square on September 20 between 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 4.
  • Halifax Transit Route #003 (Crosstown) which ran from Highfield Terminal to Mumford Terminal on September 20 between 8:00 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 4.

 

  • Halifax Transit Route #041 (Dartmouth/Dalhousie) which ran from Dalhousie campus to Bridge Terminal on September 20 between 3:25 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 4.

 

  • Halifax Transit Route #010 (Dalhousie) which ran from Scotia Square to South Street on September 21 between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
  • Halifax Transit Route #001 (Spring Garden) which ran from Scotia Square to Mumford Terminal on September 21 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
  • Halifax Transit Route #029 (Barrington) which ran from Mumford Terminal to Point Pleasant Drive on September 21 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
  • Halifax Transit Route #010 (Dalhousie) which ran from South Street to Scotia Square on September 21 between 7:40 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
  • Halifax Transit Route #003 (Crosstown) which ran from Highfield Terminal to Mumford Terminal on September 21 between 7:50 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
  • Halifax Transit Route #041 (Dartmouth/Dalhousie) which ran from Dalhousie campus to Bridge Terminal on September 21 between 3:25 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.

 

  • Halifax Transit Route #014 (Leiblin Park) which ran from Scotia Square to Mumford Terminal on September 22 between 9:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.
  • Halifax Transit Route #010 (Dalhousie) which ran from Dalhousie campus to Scotia Square on September 22 between 2:10 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.

 COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION (the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19)If you were on the following flights in the specified rows and seats on the named date and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status. 

For those who require testing, book your COVID-19 test at https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or call 811 if you don’t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you. When booking your test online, please select the reason for testing as: I was at one of the exposure sites at the date and time identified in a recent Public Health public service announcement or letter where testing was recommended. Please get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location. Anyone who is travelling within Canada into Nova Scotia, from outside of Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, must follow the provincial travel regulations based on vaccination status.
