2012 Prospect Road Crafters’ Market October 20, 2012, 10am to 5pm The first meeting of the 2012 Prospect Road Crafters Market was held on Monday, May 7th at the Prospect Road Community Centre. Feedback from last year’s market was discussed and suggestions to improve upon this year’s market are now being considered. One of the recommendations was that we not use both the gym and the dance studio for sellers, as the dance studio tables were out of sight and therefore did not receive as much traffic as those in the gym. We are looking at keeping everyone closer in one area this year, so if you are interested in selling it will be wise to register as soon as registration begins. Some other suggestions were that we have live music along with some form of entertainment for the children. We will keep you posted as we develop this year’s market format. The date for this year’s market has been set for October 20th from 10am to 5pm. It was decided that June 30th is the final cut-off date (with no exceptions) for anyone wishing to join our group. Please feel free to attend the next meeting which is set for June 4th or emailing you intentions to craftersmarket@prospectcommunities.com should you wish to become a member this year. Membership entitles you to a discount on your tables as well as your input to designing each year’s market.
