2012 Hike for Hospice

The 2012 Hike for Hospice is less than one week away! Our thanks to all those who have already registered and begun fund-raising through the website (www.hospicehalifax.org).

We do, however, have some distance to go to reach our goal of $35,000. We would like to ask any of you who have not yet registered, or perhaps not yet begun fund-raising, not to delay any further. We will need everyone’s help to get to our goal for 2012.

If you are one of those without the time or inclination to solicit funds, you should know that the process is actually painless when you register on-line. Just sign up for the Hike, and follow the steps in the Fundraising section of the web site, and your friends and acquaintances will receive an eMail asking them to support the Hike. They have the option whether to give or not, and there is no pressure for either you or them, as the whole process is electronic. What could be easier?

So please don’t delay …. join honorary Hike Leader Councillor Tim Outhit…register today, and start raising funds.

Oh, and please say a prayer and cross your fingers, and whatever else you are able to cross, in hopes of good weather. See you at the Hike!

Tony and Betty.

Co-chairs Hike for Hospice

The event takes place on Sunday, May 6 at DeWolf Park. Hike starts at 2 p.m.

Register online at hospicehalifax.org, call 446-0929 or email care@hospicehalifax.org.

Raised $100 or more ($250 for a team)? Then registration is FREE
