We congratulate the winners of the 2014 Prix Aurora Awards:

Best English Novel:

A Turn of Light by Julie E. Czerneda

“A young woman trapped between two worlds must risk everything to save both in Czerneda’s charming character-driven fantasy of rich magic, multilayered characters, and dangerous choices.”

Best English YA Novel:

The Rising by Kelley Armstrong

“Hunted by two powerful Cabals and quickly running out of places to hide, Maya and her friends – all of whom have supernatural powers – search for answers as to why they’re so valuable and why their powers are becoming so hard to control.”

And non-literary, but a personal favourite:

Best Fan Music: Chris Hadfield for his performance of Space Oddity . I love it!
