23-Year-Old Woman Charged After Stabbing

At 3:09 a.m., Lunenburg County District RCMP responded to a call of an injured man at a residence in New Germany.

Members responded to the residence and found the victim, a 28-year-old man from Cambridge, N.S. inside the house with a stab wound to his upper back. Officers learned the man had sustained the non life-threatening injury by a woman known to him. The victim was examined and transported to the hospital by EHS. No one else was injured in the incident.

The RCMP arrested the suspect, a 23-year-old woman from New Germany, at a nearby residence. She remains in custody.
