250 Homes and Killam Properties Win National Award

Video: Andrew Stokes speaks with 250 homes program coordinator, Liz Cleary. 250 homes is a safe, affordable housing and case management initiative for individuals living with mental illness. They were recently recognized and awarded by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Cooperation (CMHC) at a National Awards ceremony November 16 in Ottawa. Capital Health Mental Health Program and Killam Properties teamed up in 2007 to start the program, and today they have 83 units occupied, 43 of which are provided by Killam Properties.
