** Update: The 55-year-old person from​ Lower Sackville who was reported missing on September 7 has been located and is safe.

Halifax District RCMP is requesting help from the public to locate a 55-year-old Lower Sackville man. Stephen J. Gardin was last​ seen walking on Irene St.​ over a week ago and he has not been seen since. Police and his family​ are concerned for his well being.

Stephen Gardin is described as white, 5-foot-11 and 205 pounds with brown​ eyes and grey/black hair.​
