30-minute Woodside Ferry service beginning Monday, Nov. 4

Halifax Transit is advising passengers that beginning Monday, the Woodside Ferry will operate on 30-minute service due to mechanical issues with of one of its vessels, the Viola Desmond.

The vessel may be out of service for several days to accommodate this work.​ ​

In the interim, trips from the Woodside Ferry Terminal will depart on the :07 and :37, and trips from the Halifax Ferry Terminal will depart on the :22 and :52.

Another public service announcement will be issued when regular ferry service has resumed and updates will also be provided as available via @hfxgov on Twitter.
