48 year old man dies after motorcycle leaves road

From RCMP: Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash.

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash.

RCMP were notified at 8:30 P.M. last evening of an over due traveler who left Hammonds Plains in the morning travelling on a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle to Bridgewater.  RCMP officers contacted his cell phone provider and utilized the  G.P.S. on it to assist in locating the 48-year-old male.  He was located deceased near Joshua Slocum Drive, on Highway 3, Hubley at 11:30 P.M. last night.  The motorcycle he was driving appears to have left the highway and went over an embankment.  The RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst attended the scene and the N.S. Medical Examiner will be completing an autopsy today to determine the cause of death.
