62 Year Old Man Sprayed With Sensory Irritant

At 10:18 pm on October 10th, Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint at a residence on Stephen St. Dartmouth.
The resident heard a knock at the door and when he answered it, he was sprayed in the face with a sensory irritant. He then slammed the door on the suspect, the suspect did not gain entry into the house. The suspect fled the area on foot. The victim was assessed and treated by EHS at the scene .
The suspect is described as, a white male, in his 20’s, 5’7, slim build, wearing a navy blue hoodie and a hat. The Integrated General Investigative Unit will continue the investigation.
