70-year-old struck by vehicle on Robie

Police are on scene of a vehicle pedestrian collision in Halifax.

At approximately 6:55 a.m. officers responded to a report of vehicle pedestrian collision in the area of St. Albans and Robie streets. The driver of a vehicle was turning left on to Robie Street from St. Albans Street and struck a pedestrian who was crossing St Albans Street. 

The pedestrian, a man in his seventies, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. St. Albans Street at Robie Street is closed to traffic. Please use alternate routes to avoid delays.
