Things have moved ahead. Adam and I have signed for the apartment:
We are both excited, but strangely calm. As if, after digging ourselves out of our post-graduate debts, we have flung ourselves wholeheartedly back into the abyss.
Ah, debt: where the path is confusing, the information is in Swahili (or Dutch- same diff), the future is uncertain, and the outcome is not guaranteed.
But hey, it’s a familiar road. Oddly comforting. And in the meantime there are wooden floors to tread and cabinet dampers to swing. Eee!
