Eskasoni RCMP is confirming the body recovered from the Bras d’Or Lake is that of the missing fisher. The body of the 31-year-old Eskasoni man was approximately 50 ft off shore and in 18 ft of water when spotted by the crew of the Cormorant Helicopter at 3:20 p.m. today.

Our thoughts are with the family and the community of Eskasoni.
