Officers assigned to the Sexual Assault Investigative Team of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating an indecent act that occurred this week in Halifax.

Last night, police received a report of an indecent act that occurred on September 23. At approximately 10 p.m., a man approached a woman who was waiting at the bus stop on Inglis Street near Tower Road. The man made an inappropriate comment and then exposed himself and touched her. As this was happening the bus pulled up, the woman got on the bus and, the man fled on foot. The suspect is described as a white man in his forties, bald, clean-shaven with a thin build and wearing a grayish-green track suit.

Investigators are exploring whether this incident and three similar incidents that took place earlier this month are connected. We issued media releases on these previous incidents on September 2 and 11.
