Shortly after midnight Central division members responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Barrington Street under the MacDonald Bridge.  Upon arrival officers noted two heavily damaged vehicles and a light standard had been knocked over.  One of the vehicles contained 5 people, in which a 24 year old female and a 27 year old male were transported to hospital with minor injuries.  The other vehicle was being driven by a 59 year old man who did not request medical attention.  The incident is still under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
