Police arrested a man and seized cocaine following a vehicle stop in Truro on Sunday morning.
On Sunday, January 31 at approximately 9:40 a.m., the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) conducted a vehicle stop where they seized a quantity of cocaine and took a 39-year-old male into custody.
The man, who is from New Glasgow, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Obstruction of Justice. He was released and will appear in Truro Provincial Court on April 18 at 9:30 a.m.
The investigation is continuing.
