An independent human right restorative board of inquiry into Laura Lambie v. Halifax Regional School Board will begin Monday, May 16.

The hearing will begin at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Boat Club, 1641 Fairfield Rd., Halifax.

The board chair is Lynn Connors, who is independent of the commission. The commission is a party in the board of inquiry representing the public interest.

Media and members of the public are asked to not wear perfumes or scented products as there are participants in the inquiry with extreme environmental sensitivities. Anyone wearing fragrances will be asked to leave.
