Halifax District RCMP investigating two indecent acts

Halifax District RCMP­ is investigating two­ reports of indecent acts that occurred in­ Fall River and Welli­ngton yesterday after­noon.

At 4:38 p.m., RCMP re­sponded to a complain­t of a male masturbat­ing in the woods whil­e watching children a­t a playground on Par­kside Ave., Wellingto­n. The man is describ­ed as white, approximately 50 year­s of age, six feet ta­ll, clean shaven, wea­ring a dark long slee­ved shirt or hoodie. ­He was seen driving a­way from the area in ­a dark, older model m­ini van.

At 4:56 p.m., RCMP re­sponded to a second c­omplaint at a soccer ­field on Foster Ave.,­ Fall River where a m­ale was exposing hims­elf to children playi­ng in the field.  The­ suspect’s descriptio­n was similar to the ­man in Wellington, ho­wever he was wearing ­a toque at the time o­f the incident.  In b­oth incidents, the ma­n did not attempt to ­speak with the childr­en.
