A second man has been arrested in relation to an ongoing investigation into threats that were made online to Indigenous Fishers in southwestern Nova Scotia this past August. A 36-year-old man was arrested on September 22, and the RCMP had been attempting to locate a second man involved with the threats.

On September 28, a 33-year-old Clark’s Harbour man was arrested without incident in a home in Barrington. He is facing charges of two counts of Uttering Threats and one count of Breach of Probation. He was released on conditions later that day, and is scheduled to appear in Shelburne Provincial Court on December 6, 2017.

The investigation is ongoing.
