Three years ago today I wrote my very first blog post on what was my first true start to this never ending journey of health & wellness. Along the way the blog has gone through many changes from Confessions of a Curvy Girl on blogger, my switch over to WordPress, with a new name – Life, Health & Fitness and now as The New Chapter. Yes, the blog has had a lot of looks and a few names. 🙂
In those three years, I lost 100 lbs and subsequently gained back 20+ lbs, got married, ran several 5Ks, a 10K, (sort of) trained for a half marathon, skied after 10 years, made some wonderful real-life friends and most of all, learned some amazing things about myself!!!
What started out as a way to talk about my Weight Watchers experiences with a handful of people has turned into a huge community. One that provides daily inspiration, support, encouragement and friendship. Never would I have guessed that blogging would turn out to be such a huge part of my life.
To all my readers, THANK YOU from the very bottom of my heart. For every kind comment or email. You have helped me become a 100% better person. xoxox

Now, on to Supper. On the menu ce soir…. Chorizo, Caramelized Onion & Red Pepper Pizza. Sounds pretty freaking good doesn’t it? 🙂
As per usual, I cheated with a store-bought, thin crust. 🙂
Topped with a drizzle of olive oil.
For optimal flavour, the base of the pizza really counts – tomato paste, oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary, red pepper flakes & parmesan cheese.
Aren’t my flowers cute? 😉 (Yes, I had way more chorizo slices then shown here!)
Et voilà, a delicious pie! I was in pizza heaven.
Half of the pizza was 540 calories.
Alright, I know, enough of the pizza! ;-P
Another day of staying with my calorie budget, whoohoo! Now I must exercise. Tomorrow I’ve got a gym date with my Mom too. I’m now off to catch up with all of you.
