Nova Scotians can share their thoughts and comments to help shape the province’s 2018-19 budget and future budgets.

Budget Talks 2018 begins today, Jan. 31 and ends Feb. 23.

“Nova Scotians have many ideas and views about what the provincial budget should include, and I want to hear them,” said Karen Casey, Minister of Finance and Treasury Board. “With Budget 2018-19, we will continue on a financially sustainable path with investments in programs, services and infrastructure that are priorities for Nova Scotians.”

The fiscal plan forecasts a small surplus for the 2018-19 fiscal year. It also forecasts surpluses for the next three fiscal years.

Nova Scotians can participate in Budget Talks 2018 by:
