At 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a weapons call in the 0-100 block of Farrell St., Dartmouth.

Upon arrival officers located an injured male who had been in a physical altercation with another male known to him.

There were no weapons involved. EHS attended and transported the injured male to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

A suspect was arrested at the scene and charges are expected. The matter is currently being investigated by the Integrated General Investigation Section.
