Update: Vernon Ferguson who was reported missing earlier tonight has been located safe and sound.
Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 67-year-old Halifax man.
Vernon Ferguson was last seen at 1:25 p.m this afternoon leaving the QEII health sciences centre located at 1796 Summer St. in Halifax. He was reported missing to police around 3 p.m.
Vernon is described as a white man, 6′, 230 lbs, with gray and brown hair, wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a green long sleeves shirt and dark blue jeans.
There is no information to suggest that Vernon has met with foul play, however, there are concerns for his well-being.
Officers request that Vernon or anyone with information on his whereabouts call Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
