The One Life Surfari, Nova Scotia’s annual women’s surf competition, finished in darkness on Thursday evening at Lawrencetown Beach. A total of 11 longboarders and six shortboarders participated.
West Coaster Leah Oke captured first place in the shortboard division; Jill Manos came in second and Janine Strickland finished third.
In the longboard division, Caralee Murphy took first place followed by Leah Oke in second and Cape Breton’s Michele Richards in third.
