Police Investigate a Weapons Call – Bedford
At 12:38 a.m. 28 August, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an injured male with a stab wound in the 200 block of Innovation Drive Bedford. Patrol officers along with a Police Service Dog responded to the area and conducted a through search of the area. Officers located the injured male (18 yrs), with a non-life-threatening injury to a hand. Police also located three other teenage males believed to be involved on Innovation Drive.
The injured male has been transported to the hospital and police are not looking for any other suspects. Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages. It is not known at this time if charges are pending.
