Today, Uber Eats has launched allergy-friendly filters on its app across Canada, making eating more inclusive for everyone, regardless of allergies or dietary restrictions

Users can now clearly identify any allergies or dietary restrictions through an ‘Allergy’ section on the platform, opposed to making a note in the ‘Special Instructions’ section. Eaters can now also filter through restaurants based on their dietary preferences.

In turn, restaurant partners can now clearly identify any allergies and ensure they are taking the necessary precautions. If a restaurant can’t accommodate a request, they can message you and provide an opportunity to order another item that fits your needs.
