Police Investigate Robbery – Halifax
At 6:30 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Petro Canada gas station 7015 Bayers Road, Halifax. Staff reported a male entered the store and demanded cigarettes and money. The suspect left on foot eastbound on Bayers Rd. with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes and money.
No one was injured and no weapons were observed.
Patrol officers with the assistance of K9 searched the area but have not located the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” wearing a blue toque, gray scarf, black winter jacket, blue jeans, black Adidas sneakers with white soles.
