Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax.
At approximately 12:50pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a call for a Robbery in progress at the Esso Gas Station located at 111 Kearney Lake Road in Halifax. An employee of the business was approached by a suspect demanding cash. It was insinuated that the suspect had a weapon, although none was seen.
The suspect received a sum of cash before fleeing the store and into a waiting vehicle with a second suspect.
The first suspect is described as a white man, approximately 20-30 years old and 5’6″ in height. The second suspect is described as a white man, approximately 30 years old and being thin build. He was also thought to be wearing a green jacket.
The vehicle that was used in the offence was described as a white Mitsubishi Mirage. Investigstors believe that the vehicle had recently been stolen from a Halifax address on December 30, 2021.
