QuickPoll: NS Power asks to raise rates

Nova Scotia Power is asking for a rate increase of 9.9% over three years for residential customers. Small and medium business rates increase 11-125, and large customers would increase by just over 10%.

The first 3.3% increase for residential customers would begin on August 1 this year if approved.
