Police have charged a man in relation to the homicide of Patrick Wayne Stay that occurred earlier this month in Halifax.
At approximately 12:35 a.m. on September 4, officers located a man who had been stabbed in the area of the 1600 block of Lower Water Street in Halifax. The man was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Medical Examiner identified the victim as 36-year-old Patrick Wayne Stay and ruled the manner of death to be a homicide.
Yesterday, investigators arrested Adam Drake, 31, in Tantallon. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Court on Monday September 12, 2022 to face the charge of first-degree murder.
