Police are investigating two robberies that occurred in Halifax last night.
At approximately 5:20 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. officers responded to two separate robberies in the areas of the 1500 block of Brunswick Street and the 5400 block of Spring Garden Road. In both incidents two men, one who presented a knife and a firearm, approached a man who was not known to them and demanded his property. In both cases the suspects fled the area on foot empty-handed.
The suspect with the weapons is described as Indigenous, in his 30s to 40s, approximately 5’9” tall wearing a dark puffy jacket, dark pants and carrying a yellow backpack.
The second suspect is described as white, with a beard, wearing a brown winter jacket, brown pants and carrying a red bag.
