Potential heavy rain later this week. Location: Nova Scotia. Time span: Tuesday night through Wednesday night. Remarks: A low pressure system over the Great Lakes will move over the Maritimes later in the week giving rain, heavy at times, to parts of the region.

At this time there is high uncertainty among weather guidance concerning the rainfall amounts and where the heaviest rain may fall. While it is too soon to provide specific details, the potential exists for rainfall totals possibly reaching or exceeding 50 mm Tuesday night through Wednesday night for some locations.
