Traffic Advisory – Bedford Highway – Wastewater System Maintenance
(September 13, 2024) Halifax Water crews will be conducting wastewater system maintenance on Saturday, September 14 from 243 Bedford Highway to Tremont Drive, Halifax. Hours of work will be 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There will be no disruption of service. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
To ensure the safety of our communities and our staff, please maintain a safe distance when Halifax Water staff or contractors are working in your area.
