Police investigate after youth hit by school bus

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle pedestrian collision that occurred in Dartmouth this morning.

At approximately 8:50 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle pedestrian collision at the intersection of Caledonia Road and Main Street. A 17-year-old youth was crossing Main Street in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a school bus turning west-bound onto Main Street. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
