Traffic Advisory – North Street – Manhole Repairs

(January 9, 2024) Until 4:00 P.M. today, Halifax Water crews will be on-site performing a manhole repair on North Street near the Chebucto Road intersection. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.

There will be a lane reduction in the outbound lane. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will not be impacted.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
