Locations: Amalamek Way, Dr. Alfred Waddell Street and the Nora Bernard Street connection of the Barrington Street roundabout

Time: 24/7, starting at 5 a.m. on Friday July 25

Work details: The closure of Nora Bernard Street at Barrington Street is required to facilitate the installation of underground infrastructure and street realignment at this location. Dr. Alfred Waddell Street has been extended to now connect with Amalamek Way. This work is in support of the Cogswell District project.  

Traffic impact: Access to businesses along Amalamek Way, including A&W Autobody, Metro Turning Point, Brunswick Street Mission and Breaking Circus will now be from Dr. Alfred Waddell Street, which can be accessed from both Brunswick Street and Barrington Street.

All vehicles exiting Amalamek Way will be required to exit via Brunswick Street.

Drivers should expect delays and use alternative routes.  

Pedestrian impact:  Pedestrian access to businesses along Amalamek Way will be via Dr. Alfred Waddell Street with a sidewalk on the south side.
