Last day of Buskers is today: Here’s a look

Last day to laugh:

The Farmer’s Daughter and many others take their final bows as Halifax Busker Festival wraps

Today is your final chance to catch this unique acrobatic show as the Halifax Busker Festival wraps up its 2025 season.

The Farmer’s Daughter: One of the biggest acts of the festival

With a lasso in one hand and a milk jug in the other, The Farmer’s Daughter has been roping in laughs all weekend.

Created and performed by Ontario-born circus artist Molly, The Farmer’s Daughter is part comedy, part circus, and all country charm. Raised on a working farm and trained in rhythmic gymnastics, Molly blends storytelling, farm-themed humour, and jaw-dropping acrobatics in a one-woman act that’s become one of the most talked-about Canadian shows on the busker circuit.

Expect:

  • Hoop and rope tricks
  • Audience participation
  • Boot-stomping, milk-juggling antics
  • And a finale that may or may not involve walking on bottles in cowboy boots

She performs today at the Seaport Stage at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
