NSHA release:

Nova Scotia Health is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 46-year-old Jared Curtis Malay, who is missing from a Halifax hospital.

Jared is approximately 5’0″, with a medium build, short and stocky. He has a big tattoo on his hands and back, a short beard and mustache. He has a distinct crease in his forehead.

He was last seen at the hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at approximately 4 p.m.

A photo of Jared is included below.

The patient’s condition will deteriorate with increased time away from treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
