Halifax Water release:

Halifax Water would like to advise of road and lane closures impacting portions of Chebucto Road and the Armdale Rotary
beginning on Friday, January 9 at 7:00 PM and continuing until Monday, January 12 at 5:00 AM.

During this period, Clean Water Works will be conducting wastewater system maintenance on Chebucto Road. 

As a result, the Armdale Rotary will be reduced to one lane, and access to that section of Chebucto Road will be closed. The area between
the Armdale Rotary and MacDonald Street will be limited to local traffic only. Please see attached map for further details.

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks in the work zone will be closed. 

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes.
Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

From the Armdale Rotary take the Quinpool Road exit, turn onto MacDonald Street

From the Armdale Rotary take the Joseph Howe Drive exit onto Mumford Road 

This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
