A pedestrian was sent to hospital Thursday morning after being struck by a school bus in Halifax’s west end.
Halifax Regional Police say officers responded to the collision near the 6400 block of Quinpool Road at approximately 7:30 a.m.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
No children were on board the school bus at the time of the collision.
The driver of the school bus was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.
