RCMP release:
RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment has charged a man for indecent acts and believes there may be additional victims.
On February 3, at approximately 1:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of an indecent act on a walking trail near Arklow Dr. and Amaranth Cres. A 72-year-old woman reported that a man exposed himself, masturbated, and followed her for a distance before leaving. She was not physically injured.
During the investigation, officers identified another victim: a 63-year-old woman who experienced a similar incident near John Stewart Dr. in October 2025. She reported that a man exposed himself and masturbated as she walked past him on a trail in the park. The incident was reported at the time, but no suspect was identified. She was not physically injured.
On February 5, officers identified the suspect as a 21-year-old man of Cole Harbour. He was located and safely arrested. The man has been charged with two counts of Indecent Act and appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court on February 6.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims or witnesses who have not yet come forward, particularly individuals who use the walking trails around Arklow Dr., John Stewart Dr., and surrounding neighbourhoods.
