A power outage at the Victoria General site of the QEII Health Sciences Centre disrupted services Saturday, prompting the relocation of some inpatients to the Halifax Infirmary.

Surgeries at the VG site remained limited while crews worked to restore backup generator power. Patients with surgery scheduled at the Victoria General on Sunday were asked to wait for instructions from their care team before heading in.

Nova Scotia Health teams and technical crews were on site working to resolve the issue.
